Getting Started

This is very hard for me, the progress on this is moving at a painfully slow rate which usually would cause me to quite whatever it is and move on, but I am committed to making this work. So I got my laptop fixed...hooray!!! That's a relief, I thought I was going to have to buy a new photoshop program to put on my desktop and that is like $700 in the hole, BIG HOLE. So thank you God I did not have to that. Then I found out that my laptop is acting weird and won't log onto the net, nothing is perfect, so I got a thumb-drive to shoot stuff back and forth (that seemed like the easiest solution.)
I have not started any sewing projects, but the books I ordered came in on Monday which made my day because they were not due to get here for like another two weeks. Thanks fast mail...what? So for my first project I have picked out a dog, a tote bag, and a pair of pants. That seems like a lot but I gotta start somewhere. I have joined Illustration Friday challenge blog to give me ideas for work to get my hands moving, this weeks theme was homage, not really feeling it yet but I am convinced I need to make something it will probably be last minute and fabulous!
I need to stop running around so much and get started on these projects. Today I went to the fabric store and got totally overwhelmed and came out with nothing. Between the new store and taking Tyler along it was a waste of time. Speaking of running around that is exactly what I need to start doing ...running. I need to whip my bum back in gear or none...NONE of my summer clothes are going to fit. I need to lose some major pounds not because I think I'm chubby but because I want to wear my clothes that are already in the closet, feel me. I love to shop don't get me wrong, but I also like the things I buy and would like to wear them. So run, walk, spin I must.
So lets talk a bit about my son Tyler. He is two. Yesterday it was raining sprinkling all day long. Puddles were forming around our house slowly but surely. Nothing that you would notice normally, but to Tyler it was like a spring time Kings Island complete with the water park. As I returned outside to get another arm full of groceries my little munchkin had figured out how to get pine leaves to stick to the outside of his coat by log rolling down a muddy hill so that he was covered in mud first so then the leaves would stick to the mud...of course. His word were "see see see" Oh! I saw...took off the jacket brought him inside and told him to stay put. Went out for another load of bags, and as I was gathering heard the screen door shut, and little feet went past the side of the car, by the time I had made it round he had found a puddle full, full, full of mud. Jump, jump, splash, and then plop, squish!!! He was soaked in mud all the way through his diaper. He was so happy I could no take him away and let him play while I finished unloading the car. He totally had a great day, how often do you get to play in a mud puddle. He was satisfied with his mess cleaned up had lunch and went to napland as though this is what we did every day. Must be Nice.
See you later!
