Dried Pee. And flushable Poop ;)

Well after all the rain yesterday it is still raining. Went all over town yesterday looking for enviro safe diapers, the need to be environmentally friendly is ever growing. Plus these diapers are flushable...WOW! that sold it for me, good buy stinky garbage, no more double bagging diapers to save the poor trash men. I really feel bad for our garbage men. Our house only has one poopy tot, I cannot imagine what some multi pooper houses garbage smell like. Anyway did I say you can flush them, so I went a looking. Two stores said they had them, the first did not have Tyler's size the second did not have them at all. Bummer trucked in the rain all over to return with no booty.

We have a second diaper problem too. Size holy-moly how fast can a kid grow, slow down please! I cannot not buy a box of diapers (to save precious pennies to spend on Starbucks) hardly before he is onto the next size, and I have half a box left of too tiny diapers. I am hoping that moving him up a size will solve this problem... flooding the bed at night. For the past week I have been changing bed sheets after naps and in the morning. I cannot stand the smell of dried pee, puke! so I spend a lot of time at the washer and dryer. I do not wash clothes hardly at all just towels, sheets, rags, basically anything that cleans up a mess. Again no clothes... cleaning stuff, and pee pee clothes. So flushable diapers have liners that you can double up on in case you have a kid like mine that saves all his pee for when he is sleeping. So I will try these flushable G Diapers and see how it goes. Hopefully all my problems will be solved, yeah right! I will feel better if they work though. I feel bad getting plastic bags at the grocery just so I can have them for foul diapers, I really want to use the reusable ones. So that's two enviro checks for me, just by switching diapers...if they work.

I got a video off of the camera, 2 are still stuck. This is Tyler playing virtual baseball.

These are pictures of Tyler's cars he likes lining them up and then crashing them all together. It is a big part of the day playing with cars.

So Today (this morning) I am staying inside and we are skipping gym class. Mia, Tyler's friend, is not going to be there and that would cause commotion #1. Then at 11:30 Mia is coming over to our house until about 2:30. So that will give Tyler a late nap. If we went to gym class there would be no way he would be in a good mood until 2:30 resulting in commotion#2, because after gym class we are exhausted, so two good reasons not to go. So I'm in a cozy house on this rainy day with 2 adorable tots, not a bad way to spend a dreary day. We will have pizza, sing, dance, and watch movies... basically we will have gym class here. Won't be a day for making art. Although Thomas is working tonight so I think I might be able to get somethings done later later.
Alright, all for now. Hugs.

A Case Of The Mondays

I have used up all of my computer time already and I haven't even written to cents about my day. I got the new issue of "Artful Blogging" and I have been going through looking at all of the interesting blogs that were published in there. Maybe I will be in there one day. So looking at new blogs always gives ideas and one I am going to acquire is to make a list of all my favorite artists.
So today we have turned off the TV. Poor Tyler has gained the TV addiction through his mommy. So before I can break his I have to break mine. Not easy I love TV. And not helping is the fact that it is totally dreary outside. Cold and wet, together like brother and sister...all week too, not just today! I am having troubles with videos today, well all weekend so I can't get anything up right now... sorry. And because I have been so devoted to video problem, no pics have been taken either. Hopefully I'll get it all worked out soon.
Hugs.

Friday. Slowday.

Hey all this was supposed to post last night but there was an error!

Kinda slow today, woke up with a headache, and it didn't go away until the afternoon. Tyler had a sitter tonight and Thomas and I went to see "Baby Mama", very funny. Wasn't much of a day did a little cleaning, wanted to get sand for play box, but am dreading hauling it and Tyler to the car. Tyler loves his sitter, I'm going to have her over just to give him his meals. He will eat anything she gives him. And he always makes sure she has plenty of toys to play with!!! All for now bout to hit the sack. Go see Baby Mama, two funniest women out right now!

P. S. we got a invite to Lil' Eric Hallback's birthday "event" the picture is a must share. He is very cute.

Mad At Twirly

Why is he mad I don't know.

Scary Monsters

Yesterday not so great for blogging. It makes it difficult to publish anything without electricity! I think our new neighbor knocked it out. Luckily it was during the day and it was a beautiful day so it was not that much of a problem. Before that I was at the mall exchanging stuff. Then in the evening I went to a girls night out/Baby shower, it's her 4th kid so she didn't mind sharing the evening.
Today is another beautiful day. I'm going to try and get some plants for indoors and out, some sand for Tyler's new sand box ( I'll post some pics of him playing in it so all can see), and try and get some art done. (And laundry, clean the bathrooms, change the beds, mop the floors and vacuum!) Yesterday finished a painting, not really happy with the spacing of it though.
Will try and get some outdoor time with Tyler, it is a bit of a challenge sometimes for me (not Thomas). My idea of playing is not always tossing dirt all over myself. And fitting down a toddler slide is not possible these days. Plus Tyler has a fear of bees, not the normal bees which would be nice, but run crying screaming of the big furry black bees, which birds from a distance look the same as apparently, because we are not found of low flying black birds either. This makes for a fun time at the play ground! Although when Thomas takes him none of this applies...?
Okay so the video...this is either torture or FHV (funniest home videos) worthy. I tried to get him laughing but neither would not corporate. Before we started to tape Tyler would laugh in between Thomas making faces. But as soon as I turned the camera on Thomas started to perform and there was no stopping him. So I promise at one point Tyler was laughing, I just couldn't get it on tape, like most things.
OK Bye. Go enjoy the day!

Cheese Puff

Here I am toady. It is not even 2 pm and I am already worn out. I took Tyler to his Gym class this morning and wore us both out. Then as only I could do, I decided that I was going to be good little Suzie homemaker and go to the grocery store as was planned for Friday, but never made it because of the car, well I would call it a catastrophe! Tyler is exhausted so he gets more hyper and I'm exhausted so I get irritated, and for the cherry I had no wallet = no money. So I have to call Thomas to come and pay. Between the phone call and when Thomas arrived Tyler and I had our own private show down in the middle of the grocery store because what 2 year old can wait for anything let alone being tired and hungry too. Fabu idea, I think not. But we survived, and we came home, ate (or more like refused to eat... "I want cheese puffs") , and now Tyler is sound asleep. He was not happy when he went to sleep, I know because I would not give into cheese puff demands and so instead of eating he asked to "nap time", wow!!! So now I will go work in my studio and see if my brain has anything left.
Thank you Thomas for rescuing me at the grocery store!!

My poor art nothing is suffering more. It is a wonder I keep at it, but I do. I have said to myself that I am going to submit to this illustration Friday blog, but I have yet to be inspired by a topic. And I am having a really hard time shaking off the high art world goo of judgement. I hearing in my head the criticism of my college days. I just want to paint flowers and birds, not as kitch... as a meditation of nature. How's that high art !!!booyah!!!

LA LA LA

My nose is all stuffy so there is no way to do a video message today. I'll post some of Tyler though of course. We got the Toyota fixed today and it was free... under warranty still. Nothing big this week I need to get started on some new projects, I have a stuffed dog and some new paintings swirling around in my head that need to get to paper before they are lost and gone forever, and that happens a lot. My body cannot keep up with my brain no matter how hard it tries.

The weekend was great, tried to make it go slow but it didn't really work, never does. Got the yard cleaned and now it is open for play. Got Tyler a sand box today, it is small and quite a find, I have never seen them this size. It will be good because we won't have to abandon it when we move, we can take it with us. The only problem is now I have to go buy sand. I am not the kind of girl to haul sand to her car so hopefully Dad will want to help and I won't have to beg to much.
Well that all for now off to make dinner.

Store Is UP!!!

Hi. Working hard today...Saturday,what? I know but Thomas is home to play with Tyler so I can actually get some work done. Well Tyler is sleeping now but earlier...yeah he was up.
So today was a gung-ho(is that a word?) day. Gorgeous days 2 in a row wow!!! Everything here is blossoming, like the cherry blossom tree in the previous post which is not in our yard:(, but we have enough trees to take care of! Sooooo here's the good news my Etsy shop is up, which you can get to by clicking the link under the picture that says "Visit My Etsy Shop" or you can click here.
It is freshly open, but I did post the "Day One" painting for sale. It's a neat painting I like it. I really posted it just for practice, because I have never used this service before. So I'm excited, I finally found a place to sell my artwork and other stuff I make. And I have found the courage to do it, after all I was going to have to do something eventually. To add to the excitement I am learning how to use my new photoshop program like I have never used it before. I never knew you could make the same stuff on the computer that you can hand make too. I think it is going to take a bit of practice though. Ok I'm rambling. Gotta Go. Bye. Bye.
One more thing...watch it:

Video Problems

I spent all yesterday trying to post a video entry, result no deal. So I trashed it and started over. The video was longer than five minutes and I think that may have been the problem. I was doing a video from yesterday and some old video of Tyler which I will keep posting until I run out of material.

So today is a beautiful day. Thomas got a early start with a morning run, and then tackled the rest of the leaves that needed to be raked and bagged. This was no small task it took us both about a total of four hours to get every thing done. Wow! I know we are both pooped, but now our yard is sparkling and ready for a little spring decor and lots of playtime. I am looking into getting Tyler a sandbox and play table for the backyard. This morning he just played in the dirt. Does anyone remember the Snoopy cartoons with the dirty boy who always had a dust cloud around him?... yeah that was Tyler, he perfected gluing dirt to his face with snot, how talented, it looked like he had eaten chocolate ice cream. He definitely had a bath when we came in. So then we were off to get a hair cut for Dad and real ice cream for Mom and Son. Now it's nap time. Yippie! Here is the video enjoy and see you on Monday!

Car Poop

Watch it. Watch it.
Trying to open new store on Etsy.com will sell art there. Trying to get piece from Day one up for sale. The site is like ebay but better, because it more specific for art and handmade things, things are for sale longer and you only get charged a fee when you sell something. How exciting!
Okay, watch the video I have to go play.
So I have been trying to post this video since like noon, it is giving me problems too! Instead for the moment here are some embarrassing potty training pics.

Tyler Reads

Hey all. I have recently found the cutest video of my son when he was about a year and a half.

I am also adding links that I said I would connect toin the previous blog. The is Rosie's Blog, and this is Donna's blog.
I am also going to add some new list's. Today and the day before, well since Saturday I have been indoors because my son, Tyler, is sick. He had a fever that broke Tuesday but then turned into a horse cough. (....umm the computer had problems and I lost my train of thought) But now I am making dinner and it is not going to be ready soon enough. Watch the video it's cute. Bye. Bye.

test

so this is the first video I am trying to up load and I am having a lot of trouble. I'm sure that it is a patience issue and I am just not waiting long enough. This is my third try. If this does not work I am going to have o do some serious research.

Moving Along

So I forgot to tell you on April Fools Day my husband sent me beautiful flowers. They are pretty aren't. I love flowers and he buys them often, oh lucky me.
I am really starting to like my blog, it helps me apprieccitate things a bit more. I concentrate a bit more an positive things, and sort of make them happen for the sake of being able to appreciate them and record them. I like looking back at my entries and seeing all the good things that happen every day.
I also finished my first sewing project. It is a bag it looks pretty nice for my first try. My son is waking up from his nap.
Bye. Bye.

Getting Started

This is very hard for me, the progress on this is moving at a painfully slow rate which usually would cause me to quite whatever it is and move on, but I am committed to making this work. So I got my laptop fixed...hooray!!! That's a relief, I thought I was going to have to buy a new photoshop program to put on my desktop and that is like $700 in the hole, BIG HOLE. So thank you God I did not have to that. Then I found out that my laptop is acting weird and won't log onto the net, nothing is perfect, so I got a thumb-drive to shoot stuff back and forth (that seemed like the easiest solution.)
I have not started any sewing projects, but the books I ordered came in on Monday which made my day because they were not due to get here for like another two weeks. Thanks fast mail...what? So for my first project I have picked out a dog, a tote bag, and a pair of pants. That seems like a lot but I gotta start somewhere. I have joined Illustration Friday challenge blog to give me ideas for work to get my hands moving, this weeks theme was homage, not really feeling it yet but I am convinced I need to make something it will probably be last minute and fabulous!
I need to stop running around so much and get started on these projects. Today I went to the fabric store and got totally overwhelmed and came out with nothing. Between the new store and taking Tyler along it was a waste of time. Speaking of running around that is exactly what I need to start doing ...running. I need to whip my bum back in gear or none...NONE of my summer clothes are going to fit. I need to lose some major pounds not because I think I'm chubby but because I want to wear my clothes that are already in the closet, feel me. I love to shop don't get me wrong, but I also like the things I buy and would like to wear them. So run, walk, spin I must.
So lets talk a bit about my son Tyler. He is two. Yesterday it was raining sprinkling all day long. Puddles were forming around our house slowly but surely. Nothing that you would notice normally, but to Tyler it was like a spring time Kings Island complete with the water park. As I returned outside to get another arm full of groceries my little munchkin had figured out how to get pine leaves to stick to the outside of his coat by log rolling down a muddy hill so that he was covered in mud first so then the leaves would stick to the mud...of course. His word were "see see see" Oh! I saw...took off the jacket brought him inside and told him to stay put. Went out for another load of bags, and as I was gathering heard the screen door shut, and little feet went past the side of the car, by the time I had made it round he had found a puddle full, full, full of mud. Jump, jump, splash, and then plop, squish!!! He was soaked in mud all the way through his diaper. He was so happy I could no take him away and let him play while I finished unloading the car. He totally had a great day, how often do you get to play in a mud puddle. He was satisfied with his mess cleaned up had lunch and went to napland as though this is what we did every day. Must be Nice.
See you later!
