More Snow
I am so glad everyone got new boots, we even had to get Tyler a new coat...how do arms grow faster than the rest of your body? Thomas and Tyler had tons of fun sledding down one of the hills by our house, while I remained posted at the top.

A brand new week. Life seems to pass one week at a time, living from one weekend to the next, what a way to pass time! It's nice to always have a new goal or finish line, maybe. As for the weekend just past- no complaints. It consisted of an awesome steak dinner, that I have to toot my own horn for, a birthday party that Tyler had a blast at, and a trip to the mall that we could have skipped, except for the fact that Thomas got to see a mentor/friend that he had not seen in awhile. Malls are just too much for this preggo lady right now!
The weekend was free of freezing air, but it is still very cold and I'm over it. I am missing warm sun right now, and the weather man says there is snow on the way. Nothing much happened at home which means everyone is healthy and happy so no complaints. Laundry finally got done and so did thank you notes from X-mas, now they just have to find the mail box. Tyler is still going strong with the potty, and that makes everyone happy, except my belly lifting a toddler over every single public toilet in town.
Today: We are waiting for a poop. Literally! As I am typing Tyler is sitting on the pot waiting... and I have been ordered out of the bathroom, for his privacy I guess.?. And that will be our day until something happens and we can depart from the pot.

No Title
I have no title for today, I have no pics for today. It's early the family just finished it's version of breakfast together and now I am waiting for the poop urge to overwhelm Tyler to the point that he has to be still enough to finally... let it out. This is the biggest task it seems for a busy boy- sit still and relax so you can use it...please.
Enough poop talk, then it's off to get dressed maybe clean up a potty mess and then pick up Thomas. He is going to accompany me to the dentist, so I can swoosh in and out to pick up my night guard, which he probably needs more than me...I heard you grinding your teeth last night! This is no surprise, he is exiting the military soon and is looking for a job in the real world. This process is fun and nerving at the same time. The amount of possibilities are endless, and yet the reality that you actually have to make an option work is a bit stressful...sorry babe just stating the facts! Another fact is, yes I was up last night to hear that you were grinding your teeth meaning that baby#2 is making me much more uncomfortable than I remember Tyler causing me. That means between baby in the ribs and stomach and bladder, Tyler is doing his job of waking up to pee a little too well. But I guess I would rather trudge to in help pee 7 times at night than clean up a pee-pee mess of a bed and boy in the middle of the night only to increase the laundry amount the next day. After the dentist it's anybodies guess, hopefully we will fall into something fun, although it is still pretty cold outside. I'm getting pretty wimpy when it comes to coats, hats, gloves, shoes, scarfs, earmuffs, snow puddles, cold cars, toddler seat belts, a take along activity that must never be forgotten, chapstick, face balm, potty training bag, one last pee, another last pee, a snack, a drink, and the kid... game. I'm hoping for a day of a least 32 degrees before we go and play again outdoors that is supposed to happen today so who knows what could be in store for today!

Gross.
There is no other reason to post this picture other than it is so gross, but such a proud moment and his face says it all!?! Potty training is going really well and I just hope it stays that way! There is nothing planned on the agenda today except leftovers from yesterdays to do list, which is always never ending. Thomas, I really wanted to bring you some coffee and get the oil changed, but I'm still in my pajamas and so is Tyler...maybe lunch?

Back From Blog Sabbatical
So you say, what happened? Well...
We are expecting baby#2 in a couple of months! I was down, really down, like on the bathroom floor, for the first 3 months. So that put us in December and who can get anything done in that month of shopping and travel torture. So then comes January and after 3 months of sickness and the holidays I needed a real break and a chance to get the brain back on track. But then I decided to go one more step and potty train my son, which is going well. And that's all I have to say about that. I did manage to get a few pictures here and there so I guess I can share those and we can all get caught up. These pictures are from September to January...
I'm not gonna explain the photos there are too many and I'm not that patient right now.
Today: Went shopping this morning, got a few things and a birthday present that Tyler cannot figure out why he cannot have. I have feeling the day of the party he is gonna have a rough time handing over the gift, he has already asked if he could just share it instead. Now Tyler is down for a nap. Potty training is still going...I might say he will be potty trained by the end of the week, but I'm not! I have a list of things to do with the rest of my day, including laundry, thank you notes, and cleaning bathrooms... and a pretty good dinner I'm excited about fumbling though the making of.
Alright Wednesday continue to play nice!

Pain in the back!
That's it we are officially old, when you spend 2 hours of your night trying to get your other half from a crawling position on the floor to a sitting position on the couch you are officially getting old...er! 26 and 27 that is definitely not old, but it is not 17 anymore. How sad...no more whole bags of potato chips and no more salami cream cheese rolls without adding a roll or two. Poop!
So, do I have to say that Thomas has thrown his back out in a major way and is immobile for now. We have to do a major patch job on him because he has to travel very soon... like tomorrow. That means pain killers, muscle relaxers, warm showers, heating pads, and some not too strenuous walking to loosen things up a bit. Dr. Cara to the rescue with some not too expired meds. You'll be up and running in no time babe, I hope.
Also today, Tyler is in daycare. When I dropped him off I saw a friend of his that he gets pretty naughty with, so they should be having a interesting day. I hung up some curtain already this morning and now our bedroom in glowing a beautiful blue-ish green. I will be in my studio for the better part of the rest of the time Tyler is out and occasionally swapping out to be doctor too! Feel better Thomas!

Wormz
These photos ended up backwards. Oh well. Yesterday Tyler was determined to catch a "wormz." Mom these are some of the clothes you sent you can see they are none too big.Today: Tyler spent the day at the daycare, all went well except he did not nap...ho hum, so he is down right now. I didn't do much but run errands maybe I 'll get more done tomorrow.
You can download the pics at the end of every month, when I upload them to the family gallery at the end of every month. Its easier to do it all at once. Bye. bye.

Weekend
This weekend was another blur. Friday we went to a girls volleyball game. It was really fun we didn't win. We were up against USC girls who were like blond amazon women, and I don't think they probably lose anything, except maybe their tan after being here a couple of days. Saturday was another disappointing game day, but the day was beautiful and it was just nice to be outside! Sunday we chilled out. We went out to breakfast as usual and then we came home and watched football and slept. It was nice really nice. And now we are revved up for the week ahead. Tyler will be going to the daycare center for a full day for the first time this week. And I'm hoping to get some things done! Ciao! (I have been spelling it wrong the whole time! chow...phuph...) and it means, now that I'm looking it up, in some old Italian from Latin "I am your slave" so I don't think I'll be saying that anymore...

Hello Pictures?
I know blogs kinda are blah without the pics, but I haven't been doing any major outings lately on account of a few things. One being I got used to staying in because of a tot with a nose problem which turned into an eye problem over the weekend and now it back to nothing, phew. But during that time I learned I could save money by staying home...surprise. Last week I saved money on gas and mindless spending, which lent to a major shopping spree over the weekend!!! I'm not unhappy about that so I'll stay home some more this week and see what happens. No spending spree in the future though, we have to save to go to a party in DC. One of Thomas' friends is getting married and engagement partys are all the rage now. Grandma is coming to watch Tyler and we are going to zoom down and back.
Outside today is beautiful, and I am at home waiting for the door repair man to come. I can't even go for a walk in the brisk air, which is my favorite air to walk in...I don't think Tyler likes brisk too much though, he hates wind. That means that right now is not his fav. time of the year, especially with Ike sending us some major wind (another reason not to go anywhere.) SO here we are waiting until noon for a man who will probably not show up. The fix it men never show up the first time. Not until you call and say nobody came do they really send someone over. Grrrr! I would rather fix it myself but it is beyond repair they need to replace it.
So with no pics to post, I am looking through the pics that we do have and am realizing that I need to make more of an effort with this picture taking thing. I don't have any really great pics to boast of and it makes me sad that I live in this beauty of a place and I have not been doing my best to capture our time here...sappy, I know! But anyway while fall is here I am going to make an effort to take better/more pictures, which might mean I have to create some photo ops.

The laundry monster has been staring me down all morning and I'm gonna have to give in at some point. I gotta get the guest bed ready for my mom, and in general I need to clean. Whoosh!
Monday was okay, just to be honest. We had stayed home pretty much last week on account Tyler had a styffy nose and the weather...I think. Being in so much I think Tyler might have forgotten how to act in public. He was slightly unruly at the store yesterday all over a bathtub dino toy. So we went home and satyed home and hoped he acted better at dinner, which he did. So after we got home we just sort of tootled around...at home.
Today: Nothing much going on will have to make a real effort if this day is going to turn out to be exciting at all. The wind is blowing everyone away, and faking everyone into thinking that fall is closer than it really is. But I can't be tricked, even though our tulip tree swears it is already fall and is dropping all of its leaves as fast as possible. I want a huge cup of coffee right now but the coffee can is clinking on empty, will someone please bring me a hot cup of joe so I can get the day started!...no! okay I 'm of to get it myself.

Stuffies
I can't think of anything to write today, which is pretty bad because I have been majorly neglecting my blog. The reason why I am currently about 550 pages into my 800 page book. Its been about 2 weeks so I figure I will be back to normal by the end of next week. The book is so long I am really trying to plow through it before I totally get bored with it. Which I pretty sure could happen with anything eight hundred pages long.Tyler has had the stuffies in his nose this week so, we have just been laying low. He is almost back to normal today so I'm not trying to drag him anywhere too soon. He's having fun hanging out and watching the TV, which gives me a good time to read so I'm not complaining.
