Tickle Me Hell-mo...LIVE!

A few pictures from the weekend came through. Elmo pictures were mostly impossible but we got a few up close. They did not really have a whole lot of stuff to take pics with, which is totally understandable considering the pure chaos that surrounded the whole event. The whole idea really is to fill up every corner with twirly, sparking, floating, color-filled, kiddie eye-level gadgets, so that parents are forced to pick up something eventually to get their kid through the gauntlet without him/her throwing a fit and getting stomped on by the other kids trying to get to "their" toys. The sheer amount of sugar for sale was mind blowing. And why would a kid actually sit and watch a show after they have just been feed a literal 2 cups of fluffy colorful sugar. Parents were bending over backwards trying to prevent parent induced sugar melt downs by buying up the toy department only to have the kid kicking and screaming come crashing down and pass out with a hot pink and green ring around their mouth, a huge Elmo head balloon floating from their wrist and, a whirling light-up toy purring from their armpit... completely missing the show. No wonder the actors were miserable, they don't need actors. Elmo makes bank on sugar and toys! And this preggo mom is not even going to get started on what transpired in the ladies rooms!!!

We went, we saw, we conquered!

Please, Please, Coffee, Please

How many times can you microwave your coffee before it just isn't coffee anymore?

Degrees 14...feels like 5! Holy cow, where is spring? And mister sunshine if you would like to grace us with your presence today that would be delightful! We miss you!

Valentines Day is coming and that means our anniversary is too! But around here all the hype has been covered! Last week we welcomed a new family member into our home. It's name is "Sony." It is 42 inches long and lots of pounds heavy... it is our new LCD Hi-Def television. As far as I'm concerned we are covered for presents until 2011. Yes it was a splurge but sometimes you must do these things...for your spouse due to the fact that his wife is pregnant, sick and grouchy. Plus we are stressed because we are leaving the military...whaahooo!...I mean boo-hoo. (But you know me Thomas, I still have to get you something small otherwise I would not be me.)

Well today is Friday finally, everyone is still snotting but it looks like we are in recovery mode. There is a lot to do this weekend so hopefully we can put it into high gear and get on with the show. Tonight there is a Black History play which I'm a little suspicious of. Tomorrow there is a hockey game. At some point we have to go shopping to get Thomas ready for all his interviews, and I'm sure the new TV will get some play time.
Well have a good weekend!

That's good chicken, Mommy!

This is the slogan Tyler has shouted during one of our gazillion visits to the toilet. I think I can officially say he is potty trained, even through the night if I remember to do all the work. So maybe not through the night, but daytime has me proud.

Last night while at our weekly night-out dinner Tyler had his first whole rib...ribs! In between grunts and smacks he raised his eyebrows and with a saucy smiled exclaimed, "That's good chicken mama!" He likes ribs needless to say.

All is good round here. I am finally kicking my cold, very bad cold, and am getting back to things. Baby Chloe and family went to doctor today, everything is fine. Now we are home napping and resting until we venture out tonight to see the cadets box each others ears. Bye!
